It’s so windy out here today, and cold! Is this climate change or just one really odd summer?

I’ve got a new gallery (again)

After I got so excited the other week at integrating Picasa into my gallery here, it’s all change again! I’m using the built-in WordPress gallery now, which I didn’t know existed until the other day. It means that I can’t use Google’s free disk space and data transfer, but on the other hand when I go onto Solar Host, most of my website will actually be powered by them! I’d prefer to go with Athenaeum, because I’ve spoken to Jamie there before, but sadly they’re their (did I just write that?) charges are a bit on the high side.

I need to add in a list of tags that only show photos; at the moment you can only look at photo sets by date (no big problem with only three entries). It’s good to experiment with mixing the content of the website together, so the photo sets aren’t in a gallery as such. You don’t need to post to say you’ve put new photos up, they’re just there on the home page!

And then there are back buttons.  My websites never seem to end up getting back buttons.  I will change this.

Health warning

Honeybuns flapjack

Anyone who puts a “don’t overeat” warning on the inside of a flapjack label deserves a mention… well it made me smile on my train journey, anyway :) . The question is, are they being serious or not?! Perhaps of more concern is the child labour that Sam (the horse?) seems to be talking about. Really tho, they seem like lovely people and their cranberry and pecan flapjacks are delicious! It’s good to see things by little companies on trains, well done First.

In an effort to make this post as geeky as possible, have you ever wondered why all trains have an orange line running all the way along the top of them? Well I have, and Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service have come to my rescue, so to speak. It indicates the “cant rail”, the part where the side of the train turns into the roof. So there you go, now you know.

Easter has begun

Sarah and I won’t be seeing each other at Easter weekend, so the egginess had to start a little early, oh what a shame!
